“ I first came to this place as a kid about 20 years ago. I moved away 10 years ago and hadn't been here since. Stopped by today and I'm surprised to say they still got the touch and the quality isn't much different! It's exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeout place. Their egg rolls were super crispy, hot & sour soup was flavorful, and the egg foo young had quite an interesting and great flavor. It's sad to see the terrible economy has taken its toll on this place and that it's not as glorious as it used to be. Regardless of how empty it was, the owners were SO kind and patient with me as I ordered. Asked if I need utensils, plates, and everything else to go. I'm glad I came by. ”
“ My family has been coming here for many many years. The family who runs this restaurant is so sweet and attentive. We come every Christmas Day and then a couple times throughout the year (for the past 12 years or so). Every time we enter, they greet us with a hello, seat us at the same table each time, and they even remember our past orders--we practically don't even need to tell them what we want. This amazes me considering we only come a few times each year. The food is always delicious, and I love that they still serve vegetable dumplings here since I'm hard-pressed to find them anywhere else. ”
“ Moved back to New Jersey and came back to try dim sum. Such a sweet cook and owner. The reason for 4 is it's outdated interior. But my dumplings were ready right away when I called ahead. We see the poor reviews but so many people live to be negative. We will be returning customers. ”
“ Was surprised to see such low reviews. Those reviews were why I didn't want to go at first but I was desperate for pork buns and this was the only restaurant that came up in a Google search so we tried it. The host was so kind and attentive, not pushy in any way. It was nice to go to a place at lunch that was quiet, not too many tables. After eating I was honestly surprised more individuals weren't in here because this food was really tasty! The pork buns were lovely. Exactly what I was craving. Prices insanely reasonable for portions given. Mooshoo vegetable was very fresh and not overly fried to the point it becomes a pancake and plum sauce delivery device. Spare ribs were tasty as well. Only complaint were they were slightly chewy but besides that truly a lovely meal. $35 total for pork buns, mooshoo vegetable, spare ribs combo meal, and we have leftovers for a few nights. Honestly I suggest trying this place before relying on the reviews because maybe at one point they were correct but in my experience they have grown from where they previously were. ”
“ I enjoyed my meal here - I was craving Chinese food when out running errands and this didn't disappoint. Large portions, hot tea and chips / soup served quickly (I got the lunch special) and a yummy main entree. If you're okay with no frills this is the spot for you. ”
